ISBN-13
Many schools have expressed concern over the implementation of 13 digit ISBN's.  Bibliotech accepts both 10 digit and 13 digits in the ISBN field.  However, Bibliotech only imports the marc tag 020 from the usmarc file downloaded from SCISWeb.  SCIS are currently looking at how they will implement the 13 digit barcodes and you can keep up to date on their web site.  Here is the link to the current information on the SCIS Web site:

CASES Import - Error - File Not Found
Ensure that the file you are importing has been renamed to library.txt and the icon changes to a notepad.  If the icon remains an excel icon then the file extension is still csv.  For instructions on renaming the file correctly click here.

Patron Update / CASES
Many schools are now updating their patron information.  Click on the appropriate link for CASES or CASES21. For schools that don't use CASES, then you can convert a delimited patron information file into CASES format for easy importation into Bibliotech.  Click here for instructions.
